The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is extending the comment period for public comments regarding potential patent small claims proceeding.
On March 5, 2013, the USPTO published a notice in the Federal Register extending the public comment period for its December 18, 2012 Request for Comment regarding the potential creation of a patent small claims proceeding in the US. The USPTO is extending the public comment period to April 30, 2013 to ensure that stakeholders will have adequate time to submit complete responses. Although comments may be submitted by mail, the USPTO prefers responses to be emailed to [email protected].
