PLC Arbitration has published Case study, Commencing SIAC arbitration, authored by Richard Clegg at Selborne Chambers, which illustrates the commencement of an international arbitration under the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. The current edition of the Rules came into force on 1 July 2010 and applies to arbitrations commenced on or after that date. The case study offers guidance on how to draft and file a Notice of Arbitration, and consists of a Notice of Arbitration, together with a drafting note and a covering letter.
