DC Circuit

DC Circuit Court of Appeals

The US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit amended Circuit Rules 28 and 32.1 of its local rules, effective November 12, 2013, and provided a notice regarding the changes. A copy of the previous version is available here.

District of Delaware

The US District Court for the District of Delaware added a page for alternative dispute resolution and mediation case documents.

Western District of North Carolina

The US District Court for the Western District of North Carolina updated its pro se litigant guide.

Eastern District of Virginia

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia updated its chart tracking changes made to the court's ECF manual.

Fifth Circuit

Eastern District of Louisiana

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana revised its petition for admission form.

Sixth Circuit

Western District of Michigan

The US District Court for the Western District of Michigan adopted amendments to Local Rule 54.2, effective December 2, 2013. The rule governs attorney's fees in social security cases filed on and after that date.

Eighth Circuit

District of Minnesota

The US District Court for the District of Minnesota amended its local rules, effective November 18, 2013, and provided a summary of the changes.
The court also added a student attorney certification and notice of appearance of student attorney form.

Ninth Circuit

Northern District of California

The US District Court for the Northern District of California made an announcement that Judge Jeffrey White will move permanently to the Oakland Division in April 2014. Until then, Judge White will continue to travel to Oakland to hold law and motion hearings for Oakland-venued criminal cases on the first Friday of each month, except for months that Judge White serves as General Duty Judge in San Francisco.

Southern District of California

The US District Court for the Southern District of California updated its ECF procedures by removing "Probation and Pretrial Petitions" from its list of exceptions to electronic filing.

Tenth Circuit

District of New Mexico

The US District Court for the District of New Mexico updated its attorney information manual.

Eleventh Circuit

Southern District of Florida

The US District Court for the Southern District of Florida changed the effective date of the appellate filing fee and records retrieval fee changes from December 1 to December 2, 2013.
The court also amended its local rules, effective December 2, 2013, and provided a redline of the changes.
