Eastern District of New York

The US District Court for the Southern District of New York amended local rules 5.2, 6.1, 7.1 and 37.2. A copy of the previous version of the rules is available here.

Eastern District of North Carolina

The US District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina issued a standing order adopting local criminal rule 58.2.

Fifth Circuit

Western District of Louisiana

The US District Court for the Western District of Louisiana posted a general order amending its local rules. Changes were made to local rule 83.2.10 regarding attorney discipline and local criminal rule 47.1 regarding the format of captions in multi-defendant criminal cases.

District of Utah

The US District Court for the District of Utah changed its civil case scheduling procedures by requiring the party filing a motion to amend schedule to simultaneously e-mail the new proposed scheduling order to the magistrate judge if the case has both a magistrate judge and district court judge.
