On 1 June 2015 the vast majority of the Companies Act (CA 2014) came into force in Ireland, consolidating and reforming Irish company law. This article describes the procedures for appointing and removing directors and outlines the wide range of duties on directors, highlighting changes introduced by the CA 2014.
