Government launches initial consultation on Clean Air Act 1993

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) issued a call for evidence to support a policy review of the Clean Air Act 1993, on 3 September 2013.
NOTE ADDED ON 5/1/2015: Defra published a summary of responses to the call for evidence in July 2014. It stated that it will consult fully on any regulatory changes. Timescales for the changes will depend on how the legislation is amended and Parliamentary time.
