In Z v A [2015] HKEC 289, the Hong Kong Court of First Instance considered an application to set aside a partial award in an arbitration administered by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), in circumstances where the arbitration clause provided for arbitration “in China” but the ICC determined that the seat was Hong Kong.
