Specifically, this Note outlines the types of preliminary injunctive relief available in Florida, explains the costs and issues associated with requesting a temporary injunction, and addresses additional issues plaintiffs face when seeking ex parte relief (that is, without notice to the opposing party). This Note also addresses the remedies a plaintiff may pursue if a defendant fails to abide by the terms of an injunction issued by the court and the consequences for wrongfully enjoining a defendant.
