The CFTC has granted its first SEF registrations to 18 organizations that were previously operating under temporary provisional registration.
On January 22, 2016, the CFTC issued orders granting its first swap execution facility (SEF) registrations to 18 organizations that had been operating under temporary provisional registration. These organizations will operate under the CFTC's regulatory scheme for trading non-security based swaps.
The SEFs approved are:
- 360 Trading Networks Inc.
- BGC Derivatives Markets, L.P.
- Bloomberg SEF LLC.
- Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc.
- DW SEF LLC.
- GFI Swaps Exchange LLC.
- ICAP Global Derivatives Limited.
- ICAP SEF (US) LLC.
- ICE Swap Trade, LLC.
- Javelin SEF, LLC.
- LatAm SEF, LLC.
- MarketAxess SEF Corporation.
- SwapEx, LLC.
- Thomson Reuters (SEF) LLC.
- tpSEF Inc.
- Tradition SEF, Inc.
- trueEX LLC.
- TW SEF LLC.
