The Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Bill was introduced on 23 May 2012. Among the provisions which will interest employment lawyers are the introduction of a mandatory pre-claim conciliation procedure and a power to vary the statutory cap on the compensatory award in unfair dismissal cases.
