The First-tier Tribunal (Information Rights) in Sinclair v Information Commissioner (EA/2011/0052), has held that the Department of Energy and Climate Change was not required to disclose information relating to the costs of Britain meeting its pledge to cut carbon dioxide emissions by 42% by 2020 (from 1990 levels).
