Administrative Office of the US Courts

The Administrative Office of the US Courts updated the bankruptcy court miscellaneous fee schedule to reflect the application of a $15 fee for payment to trustees pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 330(b)(2) when filing a petition under Chapter 7.

District of the District of Columbia

Judge Emmet G. Sullivan posted a new standing FOIA order.

First Circuit

District of New Hampshire

The US District Court for the District of New Hampshire posted a notice regarding amended local rule 67.2(c) - deposit of registry funds into interest-bearing account, effective December 1, 2016.

Second Circuit

Eastern District of New York

Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals

The US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit revised its special notice to counsel who will present oral argument.

Northern District of Illinois

Magistrate Judge Jeffrey Cole updated his case procedures regarding electronically stored evidence.

Southern District of Illinois

Southern District of Indiana

The US District Court for the Southern District of Indiana posted a notice regarding amendments to its local rules, effective December 1, 2016.

Eighth Circuit

District of Minnesota

The US District Court for the District of Minnesota posted a notice regarding new local rule 5.6 for filing documents under seal in civil cases.

Eastern District of Missouri

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri posted a notice regarding amendments to local rule 13.05 - pleadings and documents filed under seal, effective February 1, 2017.

District of Nebraska

The US District Court for the District of Nebraska announced that amendments to its local rules become effective December 1, 2016. The Court previously posted a summary of the amendments.

District of South Dakota

The US District Court for the District of South Dakota revised its motion for admission pro hac vice.

Judge Virginia A. Phillips updated her contact information.
Judge Dean D. Pregerson revised his judges' procedures and schedules regarding mandatory chambers copies, contact with chambers, and filings.
Judge Christina A. Snyder updated her contact information.

District of Idaho

The US District Court for the District of Idaho revised its ECF procedures and provided a redline.

Tenth Circuit

Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals

The US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit posted a notice and summary of amendments to its local rules, effective January 1, 2017. The court also provided a redline. In the event that the amended local rules complement the federal rules of appellate procedure, they may be invoked any time after December 1, 2016.

District of New Mexico

The US District Court for the District of New Mexico posted the following general orders:
  • 16-MC-00004-58 - in the matter of: temporary emergency intra-circuit assignment and designation of magistrate judge.
  • 16-MC-00004-57 - in the matter of filling the master jury wheels for the two jury divisions of this district.

District of Wyoming

The US District Court for the District of Wyoming posted General Order 2016-04 regarding additional time for prisoner and pro se filings, effective December 1, 2016.
