On February 24, 2017, MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. agreed to acquire high-resolution Earth-imagery products and services provider DigitalGlobe, Inc. in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at $3.6 billion at signing, including assumption of $1.2 billion in net debt.
