Member
For the purposes of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (CA 2001):
- In relation to a managed investment scheme, a person who holds an interest in that scheme.
- In relation to a company, a person who:
- is a member of the company on its registration;
- agrees to become a member of the company after its registration and has their name entered on the register of members; or
- becomes a member of the company by virtue of that membership arising from conversion of a company from one limited by guarantee to one limited by shares.
