Employers in San Diego must allow eligible employees to accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours they work. The minimum wage for San Diego employees will immediately increase to $10.50 an hour and to $11.50 an hour on January 1, 2017. The ordinance takes effect when the elections results are certified.
