A Practice Note explaining how to enforce arbitral awards in Missouri state and federal courts. This Note explains the procedure for confirming an arbitration award in Missouri and the grounds on which a party may challenge enforcement under Missouri and federal law, including the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA), and Missouri arbitration law, including the Missouri Uniform Arbitration Act (MUAA). This Note also briefly explains the procedure for vacating, modifying, and correcting an arbitral award in Missouri.
